AAAASF Accreditation

RHC_FOR-WEB-blueThe American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc. was established in 1980 to develop an accreditation program to standardize and improve the quality of medical and surgical care in ambulatory surgery facilities while assuring the public of high standards for patient care and safety in an accredited facility.

Both Dr. Sweitzer and Dr. Zickler have broad and extensive backgrounds in plastic surgery as well as other general types of surgery. They strictly adhere to the surgical and procedural standards of AAAASF ensuring the highest quality of patient care and patient safety. The surgeons of Cosmetic Surgery Associates have earned honors and awards in the medical field and pride themselves on the quality of their work.

Quality

AAAASF accreditation has been recognized as the definitive standard. The majority of ambulatory surgery facilities are not accredited, operating independently of any peer review and inspection process. A growing number of states throughout the country, however, are recognizing the need for mandatory accreditation. AAAASF and Cosmetic Surgery Associates is in the forefront of legislative efforts to provide patients with safety and quality assurance in the outpatient surgery setting.
